Meet Sabrina

Hi! I’m Sabrina, a licensed Social Worker practicing in New York City focusing on individuals, and families who are looking to improve their relationships with themselves, and ultimately with those around them. My therapy style is warm and calm while offering skills in emotional regulation, communication, boundary setting, mindfulness, and self-compassion. I believe that true healing comes from connection with others and authenticity to the self. I recognize that when it comes to therapy, no one size fits all! I am committed to fully supporting your needs and starting our time together by meeting you where you are.

Sabrina’s Experience

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with a degree in Advanced Clinical Practice from New York University. I have worked in private practice, substance abuse recovery centers, and schools where I gained experience providing evidence-based treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have extensive experience supporting those with a history of trauma, family conflict, anxiety, depression, parenting challenges, as well as those exploring their gender and sexuality. I have a particular expertise in religious trauma. I utilize multiple clinical modalities including Psychodynamic, Dialectical, and Cognitive Behavioral therapies.

I have extensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and am certified in Lifespan Integration Therapy.

How We’ll Work Together

I know that starting therapy is difficult, and I am ready to join you in your journey towards healing. I believe that therapy has to be a supportive environment for everyone, and I strive to give you the safety to begin that process through my warm and non-judgmental approach. I aim to challenge my clients while bringing humor and joy to our work. I know first hand how difficult it is to find an engaging and authentic therapist that can help you make long-lasting life changes. I believe in the power of relationships to be a source for healing, and this will come through in our work together. My number one goal is to help you live a balanced, happy, and fulfilling life, and together I know we can achieve this.

I practice from an anti-racist stance, use a Health At Every Size (HAES) perspective, and am an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist.
