How We’ll Work Together

I am a warm, engaging, and non-judgmental therapist. I practice by focusing on clients’ strengths and will collaborate with you to create an individualized approach to address your unique needs and desires for therapy.

I believe in the power of relationships to be a source for healing, and this will come through in our work together.

My clinical approach focuses on how problems impact our ability to connect with ourselves and with others. I believe that connection is at the core of what makes us human, and when challenges arise, they stand in the way of what is most important in our lives. In our work together, we will use therapy as a way to create connection to reduce life’s challenges. No two people I work with are the same, and as your therapist I will bring my expertise and experience to our work in order to collaborate with you, the expert of your own life. We will create a unique approach that meets your therapeutic needs and sets you on the path to achieving your goals. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, the Ackerman Relational Model, and Psychodynamic Theory in my clinical approach.

I practice from an Anti-Racist stance, use a Health At Every Size (HAES) perspective and am a LGBTQ+ affirming therapist.
